Jalan Surabaya, located in the Menteng district, is famous for its flea market and antique stores. Here you'll find a wide variety of items, from vintage ceramics to antique sewing machines, vintage padlocks, retro transistor radios, old wooden masks, porcelain and copper batik stamps. Although many of the items sold are modern replicas, there are always authentic treasures to be unearthed. Sellers are generally friendly and some speak English.
