Beach with pools, sun loungers, restaurants and stores, a good choice for a break in Jakarta.

It's hard to believe that Jakarta has a beach. It's located to the north of the city, in Ancol Jakarta Bay City. The beach here consists of a strip of golden sand that runs along the waterfront, and although it's technically a public beach, you'll have to pay an entrance fee to enjoy the facilities. There are also swimming pools, and you can lie back on a sun lounger to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, just a few miles from the hustle and bustle of the city. The site also boasts numerous restaurants and stores.
