Spanning 185 hectares, Ragunan Zoo boasts some of Indonesia's most iconic animals, including Komodo dragons, Sumatran tigers and orangutans. You'll discover a fine collection of native flowers and plants, offering an excellent opportunity to learn about the local flora. However, note that some areas of the zoo are less well maintained, with a few empty enclosures. In addition, the zoo offers numerous trails suitable for running, ideal for jogging enthusiasts. Remember to bring insect repellent with you on your visit.
