Built in 1980, this 170-hectare park is home to over 3,000 animals, including Bengal tigers, Malay bears, giraffes, orangutans, hippos, zebras, pandas and Sumatran elephants. The majority of species represented are African. The park is involved in conservation projects, notably for the Bali myna. It also offers night safaris. Several shows feature animals such as sea lions, tigers and even dolphins, in impressive acts.
