Charming restaurant, European and Indonesian cuisine. Good address for visiting the region and for organizing original excursions. Excellent coffees. Jazz concert every Friday, but the Lucifer (at the end of Sosro Street near Malioboro) is even more striking. It is true that this address is now a victim of its success: crowded with tourists, it has lost a certain charm... that of authenticity

Ambiance sympathique et bons plats traditionnels! Evitez peut-être les crudites car j'en connais qui ont été malade après en avoir mange.
A restaurant where you is likely to cross davantages tourists that buildings. But that is really worth trying to linger in Via Via because the food is good, but especially because the " cours" , tours and stroll which are offered very interesting and are made by Indonesian students. We particularly recommend the manufacturing jewellery, batik classes and " culaniry trip" who allowed to try specialities 4 corners of Yogya.
I can not what you too Via Via; the food is decent but nothing more and because of the many announcements in the guides, the place is populated only backpackers... the concert Friday evening is not worth those of Bintang Café or Lucifer (to Malioborough)

Blows, it is not necessarily the idea only one is made of a Trip in Yogya, which is two steps from Kraton.

For information, and those who that, there is recently, in adjacent streets with Prawirotaman Prawirotaman 1 and 2 restaurants with a 'soul' differently more traditional and differently tiring.

In bulk, I advise with two steps, a street (Sartono Gang?) facing the Prawirotaman market where you can find an atmosphere less run and more authentic...

Good travel, lucky devils; -)
