The Rani's rooms are simple and comfortable, with private sanitary facilities (hot water) and very decent bedding. A very good little address in Tumpang, about 45 minutes from the center of Malang, on the road leading to Mount Bromo (from the south). Cute little restaurant, very nicely decorated. Rani rents jeeps to take you to the Bromo. A good plan and a damn good alternative for getting to Cemoro Lawang! And the icing on the cake is that here, silence reigns, with no nocturnal karaoke sessions to disturb your peaceful dreams!
