The Liang Bua cave revealed the existence of homo floresiensis. In 2003, an exceptional find was made: 6 metres underground, a small human skull, first mistaken for that of a child, emerged, followed shortly afterwards by an almost complete skeleton. These relics were to revolutionize our understanding of human evolution.
