On the hill of Buntu Burake, sits the statue of Jesus Buntu Burake, "Statue of Jesus Christ Blessed" is one of the largest statues of Jesus Christ in the world, at 40 meters high. This Catholic statue overlooks the region from an altitude of 1,700 meters. Officially inaugurated on December 23, 2018 by President Joko Widodo, the statue offers an exceptional panoramic view from the hill. The site is only accessible by car.
