The Rantepao Tourist Office is the place to go for maps of the region and dates of events not to be missed.
Don't waste your time visiting this tiny office where a whole heap of objects is piled up like in a storage room. Opening hours are real, but the only person who could give you any information is often off doing something. You'll find maps of the area and a whiteboard with ceremony dates, and that's about it. Occasionally, we managed to get an interlocutor whom we were obviously bothering, and who didn't speak English.
