A pretty beach with white sand and coral reefs, lined with stalls and ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving.

About three kilometers north of Dongala lies a pretty beach of white sand and coral: Tanjung Karang. The site is ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving: a festival of multicolored fish, a veritable aquarium!

Along the coast, numerous stalls offer grilled fish at affordable prices, around 75,000 rp. for a large portion including rice and vegetables, with hot sauce. The view is spectacular, a panorama of turquoise-blue waters against a mountainous backdrop.
