Located in the city center, this nineteenth-century Confucian Buddhist temple is the oldest in the region. In February, for two weeks after Chinese New Year, the temple houses the Tai Pei Kong Festival, which, each year, drains all the Chinese in the country (the origins of the festival date back to the XIV century). We see dragons and fireworks in the purest tradition. Also note the existence of Kuan Yin's Confucian temple (before the Megawati bridge next to which a superb mosque was built with huge speakers).

It is a pretty temple outside but nothing sensational.
