A must-see lookout in Bukit, a unique vantage point for observing Sumatra's amazing hornbills and a pleasant getaway
Following a path up the hill just past the Goa Restaurant, heading towards the reserve, in half an hour we reach a lookout on a cleared ridge. The view is not spectacular (many of the hills have been cleared for rubber plantations), but it is a unique vantage point from which to observe the astonishing Sumatran hornbills. You can continue along the ridge and return in two hours through the rubber plantations. A pleasant getaway for nature lovers.
