Seafront crêperie serving traditional galettes, crêpes, salads, and mussels in Merville-Franceville.
Facing the sea, here’s a Breton crêperie in Normandy! With its pretty, bright dining room and terrace, the gamble seems to have paid off. However, we found that the menu played a relatively familiar tune, with prices that weren’t very reasonable. Presented on large, attractive plates, the traditional galettes (wholemeal, 4-cheese, Normande, Monsieur Seguin, Manchoise...) are decent, if a little dry. On the other hand, the Costil Rouge’s organic, artisanal cider, served on draught, is a fine reminder of the real cider from the Normandy countryside!
