A remarkable 50-hectare ornithological reserve, today the leading site for migratory birdwatching in Calvados. Hundreds of species have been counted here. Those in the know will recognise the shelduck, little egret, common snipe and white spoonbill. From the observatory, you might even catch a glimpse of one of the seals that frequent the estuary, and you’re sure to be captivated by the beauty of the surroundings. Don’t forget your binoculars!
