AMBARITA VILLAGE
A small village famous for its walled enclosure, with beautiful traditional houses, administrative offices, etc.
This small village north of Tuk Tuk is home to a few traditional houses. It is best known for its stone chairs arranged in a circle, supposedly representing an ancient court, although some believe they are actually a reproduction of the original installation. Nearby Ambarita is Sailagan, a village renowned for its fortified enclosure, visible in the form of a low stone wall at the corner of the road. At the center of the square is a stone table, used to conduct village business.
