The maquis du port is not really a maquis anymore, it is now a real restaurant well known in the capital. It is particularly famous for its fish, usually braised and served whole with a tomato, onion and chilli sauce, but above all always very fresh. It should be said that the fish market of Cotonou is just next to the establishment. For carnivores, they also serve chicken with the usual side dishes (rice, French fries, corn or yam paste, aloko...) and excellent grilled meats with peanut sauce.

Une bonne adresse perdue
Le maquis n est plus !!! L attente n était plus un problème mais maintenant il a aussi perdu sa cuisine en gardant des prix prohibitifs. Restaurant à oublier
