Although (very) far from the center of Cotonou, the Kalaupapa hostel is an option to consider for a short break on the road, or for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the capital's center. Here, you can sleep in four clean, airy rooms, and above all enjoy a very pleasant and relaxing place to live. An oasis where you can have a drink or eat organic food under a beautiful straw hut in a green setting. It's also an educational, cultural and artistic space dedicated to children. A wonderful stopover.

Un petit paradis pour se ressourcer
Dans un cadre naturel et floral exceptionnel, l’auberge Kalaupapa est un vrai havre de paix. Le chef Rachidi nous propose chaque jour de délicieux repas du jardin à l’assiette, avec les produits du potager bio. Tout est fait pour qu’on se sente bien : les chambres sont vastes et très propres . Les jardins extérieurs très bien aménagés pour petits et grands. En bonus en séjournant ici, on réalise une bonne action puisque les profits de l’auberge sont reversés pour le fonctionnement de l’école maternelle et primaire située sur le même domaine. À 40 minutes de Cotonou et 20 minutes de Calavi, ne manquez pas cette étape qui vous fera découvrir le Bénin autrement.
