Maquis, restaurant, bar… Everything helps to satisfy the stomach in this ensemble, bringing together several barns, where intimacy and conviviality prevail. Only African cuisine. Behind, a artisan market (open from 9 p. m.) proposes local crafts, such as batik, statues or pearls of pearl at very good prices, including the first right shop, which belongs to the owner of the Escale des Arts, Martine de Souza and held by her son, the warm Carin. Also history books on Ouidah. A good, popular, popular address, stained by television and heated customer discussions, and embellished with the freshness of the straw roof.

No craftsman in the huts when we visited, apparently vacuums for an insignificant time, choice very limited in food. The prices in addition seem to fluctuate according to the head of the guest (rare in Benin to be noticed!) and staff is not very friendly. We had to insist to have more bread, while we paid breakfast at full price, the deafening music, in short, disappointing!
