We covered this sandy track from one end to the other by motorcycle.
It's a perpetual delight! All the way along, it's just an immense beach of fine sand, with the occasional small fishing village where life seems to have come to a standstill. It's best to go in the morning to see these cohorts of fishermen, one after the other, pulling long, heavy nets for hours on end. Photographers are understandably not welcome.

La Route des pêches se résume à une simple piste avec, d’un côté, la plage et ses pêcheurs, de l’autre, des cocoteraies et des villages. Un paradis pour les touristes locaux et étrangers. Prendre le temps d'observer les pêcheurs le matin ... mais attention à son appareil photo. Les pêcheurs se méfient. Pas de photo sans un accord.

A heavenly place with coconut trees, the fishermen and the cows. Depending on the season it is not necessarily need to a 4x4. It is more pleasant to Ouidah from Cotonou by this road. It is true that the government has real estate projects... You dispatch.

Magnificent road, coconut trees, small fishing villages, traditional fishing, canoes,... for absolutely before the development of hotels on the coast. Ask for a 4x4.
Good, 4x4, I dishes in doubt; -)... We went by motorbike my companion and the trip seemed to me rocky race motocross with nest- to hen puddle pools including lunar craters. But what a adventure baths and unforgettable! Fresh coconut trees and coconut milk, huts and fishing boats, the beach and sea, sun and the sky, children with the song "yovo", goats, chickens and safe cattle the road... If you do not think of the conditions existence of fishermen! If you want to go to Ouidah, take the Road Fishing and not tarmacked road, although more quickly.
