The artist Cyprien Tokoudagba died in 2012. Since her daughter took over the torch and continues to live his father's workshop. After restoring royal palaces and painting voodoous temples, Tokoudagba specialized in painting paintings that remain permeated by the Vauduth theme. He had also made some statues of the Slave Route in Ouidah.
