Espace Tissage de Djougou is located in the Zountori district, not far from the town center. It is a women's group that enables women who have been forced into marriage, who have dropped out of school or who have left the countryside to find work in the various weaving trades. They can then learn the trade and set up on their own. There's also a store where you can buy all the fabrics you need! A good idea and a good deed.

Très belle visite de l'atelier qui a déménagé (présent dans le guide de 2006). Déhanatou Taïrou nous a accueilli comme si l'on faisait partie de la famille, elle nous a fait visité l'atelier et présenté les filles qu'elle héberge et qu'elle forme dans un souci d'amélioration des conditions de vie et de travail des femmes. L'espace tissage de Djougou est un centre de formation et a également pour mission de promouvoir les produits du tissage béninois sous toutes ses formes au plan national, régional et international. On peut y acheter de magnifiques écharpes tissées ainsi que des demi-pagnes tissés.
