Ethnographic museum, one of the few interesting museums in the region, exhibiting instruments, photos, traditional weapons...

One of the few interesting museums in the region. Opened in 1991, the Ethnographic Museum is housed in what was the residence of the Circle Commander during the colonial era in 1915. It is dedicated to the civilizations of the Atacora and exhibits instruments, jewelry, traditional weapons, photos, some of which date back to 1930... You will also discover the culture of the Somba people, a term covering different ethnic groups, and the various types of habitat (the tatas).

just interessant - it is rare in the benign! with a visit to before exploring country affected.
A museum to see very interesting, by the richness of its content, I really enjoyed the models of " Somba" affected; who are different from each other. I will go back here with pleasure
