When the sun is shining in Stockholm, you want to take a swim. If you've explored the watering holes in the city centre and want a change, try Smedsuddsbaden. This is one of the closest beaches to the centre and probably one of the most popular, located near the West Bridge (Västbron) and framed by the Marieberg and Rålambshov parks. It is ideal for families with children, with a view of the lush green island of Långholmen. Beware, it can get very crowded!
