If you're looking for a sauna frequented daily by locals, Tanto Bastu is your best bet! Maintained by its members, the sauna floats on the water near the Tantolunden park, overlooking the Liljeholmen district. In winter, you can join the regulars in the freezing water after a sweat in the sauna. In summer, the area becomes a public beach. Tuesdays for men, mixed Wednesdays and Thursdays for women. The Facebook group can also offer alternative sessions. Please note: you'll need to arrive early to secure your place!
