Kaolin was formed in 1978 when a group of potters got together and started a cooperative and store. The name Kaolin refers to China's Gaolin Mountain, where kaolin was once found in both clay and glaze. Today, thirty-five years later, Kaolin is a gallery specializing in Swedish ceramics and presents itself as a meeting place for art associations, collectors and pottery enthusiasts. A delight even for those unfamiliar with the craft.
