The big brother of the Rex Petit (2-star hotel), nestled in the same building, the Rex Hotel (3-star) is housed in a classical-style building dating from 1866 in the heart of Stockholm. Spread over four floors, the standard-sized rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is served under a pretty veranda surrounded by plants. The ambiance is warm and modern, but evokes the 19th century thanks to the old brick vaults in the basement, the staircase and the original floor. A good, authentic choice on a human scale.
