The Nobel Prizes are presented to the winners at a ceremony in the Konserthuset, but only invited guests may attend.
On the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death, the Nobel Prizes are awarded at Konserthuset on Hötorget (the Nobel Peace Prize is the only prize awarded in Oslo, Norway). Only invited guests can attend the ceremony. Afterwards, the big dinner and ball take place in the big blue hall of Stadshuset, the city hall. However, a certain effervescence reigns in the capital during this period and often events are organized for the public (sometimes conferences where certain personalities are invited).
