MIDSOMMAR

A party for an endless day: with the sun still on the horizon, you'll be surrounded by radiant conviviality.
June is as important as December, as it begins with the National Day on 6 June at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. This is followed by Midsommar, a folk tradition that celebrates the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, when the sun reigns over the Nordic territory. It's a never-ending day, with a never-ending family lunch. The tradition is to put flowers in your hair, dance and sing in circles, and drink endlessly. A beautiful, often decadent tradition!
