NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM (NATURHISTORISKA RIKSMUSEET)
Stockholm's National Museum of Natural History deserves a visit, especially if you are with children. Housed in an imposing building adjacent to the large campus campus, the permanent exhibition traces the history of our planet since its creation, with many reconstructions of animal scenes. Many screens feature often well-mortgages movies. You will pass from the "4,5 billion years" hall and its dinosaurs to the "man's journey" which recounts the evolution of our species and draws our genealogy with great precision. Some rooms may appear bleak because they only have bones and stuffed animals. But the «Polar Regions» space and its skeletons of immense marine mammals overlook these moments of flottement. The floor is dedicated to Swedish fauna and flora, presented in interactive rooms that will delight the youngest. Unfortunately, there are few translations in English, but as often in this type of museum, the names of the species are specified in Latin! Space for picnic, restaurant and shop! Don't forget to ask for the museum plan at the ATM.
