ABBA THE MUSEUM
ABBA The Museum is a museum dedicated to the famous Swedish pop group, from its creation in 1970 to its break-up in 1983 and comeback in 2021. Since its opening in 2013, it's been a big hit, with almost 300,000 visitors a year! You'll discover costumes, instruments, gold records and other objects that once belonged to the group, as well as exact replicas of the places where ABBA lived and worked, to take you as close as possible to the life of the quartet. More than just a museum, the site has been designed to offer a truly immersive and interactive experience. The many devices available to visitors are regularly renewed to keep up with the latest technology. During your visit, you can virtually try on the band's costumes, sing along, create music, play quizzes and even slip into the shoes of a fifth band member by performing on stage alongside the avatars of Björn, Agnetha, Benny and Frida. Finally, a new area takes you behind the scenes of the quartet's latest project: ABBA Voyage, a series of futuristic concerts in hologram form. For an even more interactive experience, scan the QR codes with your phone and let the band members tell you their stories!
Good to know: on-site reservations are highly recommended, and only credit cards are accepted throughout the museum (including the store and restaurant).
