Summer in Stockholm offers days of swimming and picnicking, walking, boating and outdoor activities, all until late. Winter, on the other hand, invites you to see Swedish life from the inside: discover the world of hot chocolates and candles, Christmas meals, saunas and ice skating!
Stockholm enjoys a humid continental climate and is subject to large temperature differences between winter and summer. The seasons are very marked and the duration of illumination varies enormously (almost 18 hours of daylight in summer and only 5 to 6 hours in the middle of winter).
