Utö is a beautiful, typical island in Sweden's Stockholm archipelago. It is easily accessible from the capital, either by boat or by bus followed by a ferry ride. Ferry tickets can be purchased on board and are valid for 6 months. Utö offers incredible biodiversity and varied landscapes, giving the impression of having made several journeys in a single day. The island is quiet and ideal for walking or cycling. There are also plenty of activities to do, such as renting bicycles or mopeds, visiting the Utö Gruv-& Hembygdsmuseum to learn more about the island's history, or relaxing on one of the beaches. Utö also has several restaurants, a small supermarket and a bakery to cater for visitors' every need.
