OFFICE DU TOURISME D’ÖREGRUND
Öregrund, located in Sweden, is a charming coastal town offering a unique atmosphere with narrow streets, small boutiques, tempting restaurants and cafés. Visitors shouldn't miss the guided walking tours and Öregrundsmåndag shows, organized by famous locals and artists, near the Västra Banken lightship. The town has a chequered history, with accidental fires and devastating conflagrations caused by both Russians and Danes. In the late 19th century, Öregrund became a popular spa resort, with the construction of a hotel, baths and clubhouse. Many visitors flocked to Öregrund and sumptuous summer houses with glass verandas were built, many of which are still standing today. In Öregrund, you can watch the sun set over the water from one of the rocks lining the town, or dine at the Strandnära or Tullbacken restaurants. You can stay at Klockargården, Epokgården, Lilla Hotell Wilma or the Uddens guesthouse. You can also rent bicycles, canoes and small boats in Öregrund.
