BRÄNNBOLLSYRAN

Every year in May, on the university campus, the international brännball tournament, a local and simplified version of baseball, takes place. This event is above all the occasion of a gigantic celebration attracting thousands of people from all over the country and even from abroad. It usually takes place on the first weekend in June, when the days become very long. In the evening, there is a huge street festival in the Ålidhem district, on the edge of the rave party and without the night ever being total.
