Nordanå includes, among others, the Skellefteå Museum, which traces the 150-year history of the town, the Nordanå Theatre and an open-air museum that houses some red wooden houses built in the 18th century in its park. In summer, ethno-tourists can discover the traditional activities of the region through exhibitions of old furniture and looms. Local handicrafts include ceramics, jewelry and sheep's wool mittens. In the old school converted into a museum, crafts and paintings are exhibited.
