Falun, located in the Dalarna region, is an attractive tourist destination. The ski museum offers a history of skiing, with a unique presentation of the history of the Falun Ski World Cup and incomparable views. Lake Runn, between Falun and Borlänge, is an excellent place to learn to sail or paddle a kayak. In summer, it offers numerous opportunities for boating and swimming, while in winter, cross-country skiing and long-distance skating trails are laid out on the lake's ice. Falun is therefore a versatile tourist destination, offering a combination of cultural heritage, outdoor sports and natural beauty.
