Built in the 18th century, this bridge is remarkable for its architecture, consisting of a succession of twelve arches spanning the river. The wooden bridges that succeeded it were unable to withstand the spring floods, so it was decided to build one in stone. Construction was scheduled to take four years, but it wasn't until 1797 - after 32 years - that the bridge was inaugurated. At 168 m in length, it links the districts of Haga and Norstrand, and is the longest of its kind in Sweden.
