The story of "Strandflickorna" began in 1993, when the owners opened their first summer youth hostel, "Toppensnäckan". A few years later, they bought an old building on the seafront and realized their dream by renovating it from top to bottom and creating this hotel/Bed & Breakfast. All rooms are tastefully decorated, with antique furniture, floral tapestries and antiques accentuating the 19th-century spirit of the architecture. The hotel is quite luxurious, and the comfort is second to none.
