Designer Maria Erixon Levin left her position at Lee to create her own brand in 2001, and the result was Nudie Jeans. Born in Gothenburg, Nudie jeans are now sold all over the world, not only because they're well-cut, but also because they're made from recyclable materials in an environmentally-friendly way. Expect to pay an average of €150 for a pair of jeans. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is there. So take advantage of your visit to Gothenburg to go green and "eco", and treat yourself to some great jeans!
