This fish market, nicknamed the fish church because of its church-like architecture, is a must-see in Gothenburg. Here, from Tuesday to Saturday, at 7 am, fish and shellfish are sold at the auction, but above all it is the ideal place to have lunch! You can indeed buy delicious shrimp sandwiches or hearty seafood salads from the different fishmongers. The quality-price ratio is excellent and you can enjoy yourself. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace or at the water's edge.

Small but the restaurants are full
Excellent fish. The monkfish is a giant compared with mediterranean one.
In the shop on the left coming from the center you can taste swedish oysters.
