Medieval brick building, built around 1580 by order of King Frederik II of Denmark as a residence for the Bishop of Lund. A century later, it was donated to the University of Lund. The tower was once used as an astronomical observatory. Today, the building houses the university's philosophy department. It's a beautiful building that's a pleasure to contemplate, and makes you want to go back to university!
