South of Kivik, the curious King's Tomb is a stone mound 75 m in circumference inside which rock paintings depict horses, chariots and human beings. The site was a quarry until 1748, when two farmers discovered a 3.25-meter tomb built from ten stone slabs. This Bronze Age tomb is estimated to be around 3,000 years old. After excavation, the tomb was restored, but no one knows whether it resembles its original state. A place still shrouded in mystery.
