A small, quiet restaurant, away from the city center, located in the outskirts of Ranelagh. An ideal address for those who seek the calm of the suburbs and the quality of establishments less frequented by tourists. The menu, with Italian flavors and always fresh products, is quite small, but is a very good option for lunch. Also good breakfasts and an excellent brunch on Saturday and Sunday. A well-kept secret that you will be happy to discover and try. Enjoy your meal!

If you're travelling on the Green Line Luas, then take a quick pit stop at Beechwood. You can have a quick coffee or splash out on a Portuguese tart. If you want to go the whole hog, they'll bring Shakshuka for €9.50. This meal consists of Baked eggs in spicy harissa tomato sauce, red peppers, coriander, crumbled feta served with lemon yoghurt and toasted sourdough. For €3 extra, they will add some chorizo. Then when you're done, walk all of 10 feet to the Luas stop.

Awful service. Will not return even if I'm paid to do it.
Aggressive approach "we take people who eat too over others so please wait outside" (we had a toddler and outside is cold). Menus thrown onto the table, no spoons served with the coffee, when I went to take one myself I was "greeted" with a what do you want attitude and was handed over a spoon almost in contempt.
When I wanted to pay, they were busy getting the leaves from outside which took precedence over us.
Food was food, coffee was good but if it's the same service all the time then I pity the ones who don't want to eat too as in brunch.
Better put a sign: "we do not serve unless you brunch, too. Or else..". Would be more fair.

Probably the best cafe in Dublin.

I don’t like to be negative and I like to support local small business however we had a very unsatisfactory experience. Not family friendly at all and very disappointing service. Came for brunch with my wife, toddler and newborn. Reseated after getting settled in place, completely disrupting us and making our entire stay extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. The attitude from the manager was so poor - not a question, basically telling us you have to move to the corner because another party arrived with one more person. This resulted in us being squashed at a two person table with a buggy and two small children and we had to keep splitting up to ensure our kids were ok. When I tried to (politely) discuss with the manager he refused to acknowledge my experience and basically said he didn’t care what we thought and we would have to agree to disagree. If this is the policy and you don’t want families with small children, please make this clear on the front of the cafe and online and don’t take my money for a very unpleasant experience. We have been a few times before but after this experience we won’t be back. The food was expensive but tasty. There are no changing facilities or accessible toilet. The waiting staff were pleasant excepting the manager.
