In the grounds of the Brooks Hotel, this excellent restaurant serves imaginative Irish (and international) cuisine in a rather designer and contemporary setting. Chef Patrick McLarnon has won many awards for his modern cuisine using fresh seasonal produce. The prices are very affordable, considering the quality. On the menu: homemade gnocchi, duck in cider and scallops. The Jasmine bar, open every day, is a pleasant place to continue the evening. It serves excellent whiskies.

Visited in february 2023
I went on the Valentines last year, and they had a special set menu. The staff service wasn't outstanding but they were efficient and I have nothing to complain. The 5 course was great, everything we had was very good, especially the champagne sorbet, much to my surprise. I'm not sure about the rest of the year, but if they ever do a Valentines special, I recommend trying it out.
