While the atmosphere here is pretty good, and the service is very good, the food (that of the main dishes) is not amazing. Overpriced, small portions which dont taste fresh or particularly impressive. Feels like I could make something better at home! However, the sushi and cocktails on the other hand are of the highest quality. So while I cant necessarily reccommend any of the main dishes, I absolutely reccommend the sushi. Very tasty and fresh. Cocktail was gorgeous and beautifully presented. Again, service and atmosphere are good too.

Fantastic restaurant! Everything was spot on. From the welcome, to the food, service and the professional staff. Just great!

Extremely noisy. Food was quite decent. Service was average. I was not given a dinner spoon despite a few reminders. And yes, it was warm and stuffy inside the restaurant.

The curry tiger prawns deserves a recommendation.

Absolutely delicious lunch at Yamamori! The Chicken miso ramen is perhaps the BEST ramen I have ever had. They offer a full egg in their ramen with plenty of fresh vegetables, rich broth and grilled chicken with sauce. Their nigiri is also fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend if you’re finished touring the city in the area nearby St. Patrick’s cathedral!

Did not expect to have the best scallop nigiri of my life here! Also the crab meat and caviar is what sushi lover dreams are made of. Prices for the rolls are steep but they’re actually massive, and worth it IMO. Cocktails were also fab. All around 10/10!

€4.5 hidden charge for a bottle of water — water that was offered by the waitress as if it were a courtesy for the table.

"Can I bring the water for the table?"

It's a sneaky, underhanded move to tack on such an exorbitant fee without any upfront disclosure.

This is downright outrageous and unacceptable!

The food is mediocre and overpriced too.

We ordered a Sushi which for 7 euros serves only 2. So the expectations would be that they'd taste amazing, but it was just quite basic. Now either it's supposed to taste authentically that way as per Japanese standards, I am not sure, but didn't enjoy it.

We also had seafood Ramen and Lunch Bento box. All just alright but not amazing. My Chinese friend with me liked hi bento box and I tried some of the stuff there but same old story of it being bland again. Though the soups were brilliant. Even the soup part of Ramen was quite good. Loved that. If I could only order soup here, I'd be super happy.

On sidenote- It's been the same for me lately no matter where I go out to eat in Dublin. The taste is just quite bland.

Now I question again and again, is it my palate or that's how Japanese food is supposed to taste like or do they, like Indian restaurants reduce the spice as well.

Yamamori est un des meilleurs restos japonais à Dublin. La cuisine exquise y est à prix abordables.
