Welcome to the cosy atmosphere of La Bodega. Here the staff always welcomes you with a smile. The menu is not very extensive, but the tapas are absolutely delicious; we particularly recommend the grilled sardines, the tortilla, the garlic prawns, the chorizo with chickpeas, and to finish the chocolate fondant! Beware, the place is often crowded at the end of the week and the wait can be a bit long, especially in the charming and romantic patio. You'd think you were in Madrid, except for the heat!

Terrible "dine under the starts" as you look at the bins in the back yard and guys delivering tubs of cooking oil into a shed? Prawns pil pil always served sizzling but ours arrived in luke warm oil just awful and when pointed out a shoulder shrug avoid Churros burnt to a crisp just awful way better locations in Ranelagh

La Bodega in Dublin is an amazing-looking restaurant with great service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. However, I found the food to be somewhat underwhelming; it didn’t blow me away. One suggestion for improvement would be to serve the tapas in a cadence mode, as having everything brought out at once was a bit overwhelming.

Nice place, drinks a little bit expensive, food was ok nothing too special. Staff were friendly enough and did manage to get us a table without booking in advance.
