This is a very good choice if you like Lebanese cuisine. Decorated in the traditional oriental style, the restaurant (located upstairs) bathes in a friendly atmosphere, you don't only come to dine, but also to spend the evening. Numerous mezze options (including an excellent menu for two people) well seasoned for vegetarians as well. Some evenings, a belly dancer adds an extra touch of exoticism to one of the most famous Lebanese addresses in the Irish capital.

On the 4th of February I had dinner at The Cedar Tree when I ordered several dishes to be shared. The service was very kind and the food presentation great. But unfortunately I got a food poison caused by the lemony lentil soup. After 3 full days of recovery on my holidays in Dublin I am able to share the experience and I hope the restaurant will take major actions to avoid that experience for the next customers. It was bad but could be even worse and ruin completely my first trip to Ireland.

Delicious food and friendly staff. They even gave me free (and yummy) baklava with a candle because it was my birthday
