Sole is a very regular award-winning address and without a doubt one of the best seafood restaurants in the country.

For those who love iodized flavors! Sole is a regular award winner and without question one of the best seafood restaurants in the country. After an excellent cocktail, the freshly caught seafood platters are very popular, but we also loved the grilled oysters with butter and garlic drizzled with parmesan or the fish and seafood pie with cheddar. In a superb setting, where wood is the star, we enjoy ourselves, despite the bill that can quickly climb! Remember to make reservations on weekends.

Nice looking restaurant, let down by a fairly bland meal.

The starter was promising with a smoked salmon dish but the monkfish main appeared to lack any real flavour outside of the bacon it was wrapped in. Similarly, the the mussels included with the main were absolutely tasteless (prompting a brief worry I had somehow lost my sense of taste.)

A manager did enquire about what we feel could be done differently, although there was little follow up on our issue that the food appeared to be very bland. We regularly eat seafood at home and were at a loss as to how the dishes could be so lacking.

We left quite unhappy given the price paid for what was a disappointing meal.

Have to say , I was underwhelmed with my food last Saturday evening. I ordered the sea food chowder for staters, which resembled a texture of baby food with no pieces of fish.
For the main course I ordered the monk fish which looked insipid unappetising, the two mussels were so over cooked resembling leather. So dissatisfied as was there 5 mouths ago and loved the food.
Shame to see it drop a level .

Si seulement on pouvait trouver une telle qualité d'accueil, de service, de cuisine et de décor dans nos restaurants français, ça serait tellement bien car beaucoup de restaurants ne sont vraiment plus à la hauteur de très longtemps

Disappointing. Minuscule portions for majuscule prices. Turbot was three tiny pieces not even 100gr of fish for 44€. Ordered crab claws and monkfish, both of which were over cooked. Nice place and good service but would not go back for a mediocre meal above 100€ per person

First visit to Sole and certainly not our last. Right from the start staff very attentive, choice of seating at the bar, great idea, food, drinks attention to detail excellent. Fish and chips ? I ask a restaurant to better this, unbelievable portion. Scallops to die for and wine and drinks selection including draught Guinness superb, what a great Sunday date day ???? we will certainly be back. Well done.
