In a superb historic building in the heart of the Irish capital dating from the 19th century, here is a very nice address that will make carnivores happy. The menu of this very warm steakhouse proposes excellent local meats, perfectly matured and worked, grilled seafood, some vegetarian options and beautiful wine proposals to accompany all this. You can also enjoy the beautiful covered and heated terrace overlooking the beautiful garden of the establishment. A beautiful address.

Most recently, when eating with 3 friends, I had a steak for mains, medium rare, and it was served as such. A friend asked for a steak medium well, and it was cooked beyond being edible. This was accepted by staff, and returned to the kitchen, with a request that the next steak be more on the medium side. It too was cooked beyond ‘well-done’. At this juncture the rest of us had finished our dinner, so we made no more of an issue of it. Further, when booking the table, we were told we could have it for the remainder of the evening as there’d be no more bookings by the time we finished. We were however asked to vacate the table at 9:30pm as ‘the table was required’, despite the fact the restaurant was at approximately 50% capacity at this stage. We moved to the bar to be greeted by impolite serving staff.
I’m not giving a lower review score than average. I feel that the last couple of times I might have been unlucky with serving staff. It remains, nevertheless a stunning looking restaurant.

Les viandes étaient très bonnes et les cuissons respectées que ce soit pour le bœuf ou l’agneau. Le service a été agréable et professionnel.
