Great location, very nice establishment. Rooms are well appointed but a bit crowded.

Perfect location, walking distance to lots of tourist attractions. Spacious room, very clean and organized. Can be a bit noise depending on the side of the room, but nothing that could disturb the night.

Stayed here during my recent trip to Dublin. Comfortable, well furnished rooms. Rooms are really quiet. This room has a big bathroom, shower only, with 2 sinks.
Be advised, if you get a room on the sixth floor you have to go to the fifth floor and then use the stairs.
It is an easy walk to Liffey River and many of Dublin's famous sites.
I am back and staying on the second floor this time, much easier to get to. I have a view of a wall ????. Noisier than my last trip. But I always have my "thunderstorm box," so it is bearable.

As a result of a recent stay( Last visited this Hotel 2 years ago with a favourable rating, how things have changed). We requested a quiet room when booking made 2 months previously! only to be told that this would be subject to availability! As a result we ended up with a noisy room on the top floor! The air con whirred and groaned all night long, we could hear singing and laughter from next door from people who had too much to drink ( what a surprise),this continued into the night with others joining in with banging of doors. The room itself was worn in decor and the bedsheet spreads dirty. The staff were fine and the breakfast acceptable for choice but standards have clearly dropped ( unless you pay extra for a luxury suite ) . The location of the Hotel is excellent however and if our room was any better it would merit it's 4th star but not on this occasion.

Made another booking for this Hotel recently (April 2024) but unfortunately became too ill to travel on day! It would have made no difference if I had paid for the free cancellation option in any event as this did not offer any protection for cancellation on day of stay etc This meant I was £380 out of pocket as a result. I had to accept this loss but the Hotel Supervisor referred to fact that they could consider a refund if I could produce a sick note ! I found this strange as why would I request a cancellation if I was fit to travel having paid for my stay in advance ? I also paid for airport parking (non refundable) and for the flight via Ryanair (non refundable) and 2 Dublin tourist passes for the period of my stay. The fact that I could not produce a sick note on the day would be understandable if the Hotel had any idea of the state of the NHS in this Country. In any event I was not impressed and will need to think again before I consider this Hotel again .

Busy but elegant hotel, convenient on O'Connel street. Staff very helpful, rooms quite and a good size, well furnished. 2 restaurants on site which are good, and breakfast is good and generous. Very convenient for buses to the airport and also for the DART and buses around town. Short walk to the river and across the bridge to Temple Bar.
